They’re Everywhere: 1000-Year-Old Jesus Painting Apparently Has UFOs, Theorists Go Wild

People are freaking out after some light was shed on a 1000-year-old painting of Jesus that appears to have signs of UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) on it. The painting has apparent “UFOs” hovering over the head of Jesus in the 11th-century fresco wall painting by an unknown artist.

The painting is etched on a wall of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Eurasian Georgia and appears to show UFOs circling Calgary as Jesus Christ hangs on the cross. Although the spaceship-like objects are not the main focus of the painting, modern viewers can’t help but wonder if the spaceships adjacent to the jellyfish in the painting were meant to be representations of extraterrestrial life on Earth.

In the painting, a bystander at Jesus’ crucifixion appears to be pointing at a UFO hovering in the sky. While the origins of the painting are completely unknown, it is believed to be over 1,000 years old.

According to some historians, the 11th century artwork was supposed to depict guardian angels. However, the theory appears to have weak evidence to support it to some on the internet, as the shape of the sky blobs uncannily resemble the saucer-shaped alien ships often used by modern humans.

While historians believed they were angels, conspiracy theorists had their own ideas.

While they argue that if the blobs were supposed to be angels, they would have been drawn with wings, conspiracy theory website Ancient Aliens weighed in on the painting, writing: “The unknown artist appears to be telling us that these flying saucers were present for Jesus’ death”.

The website added: “The faces likely mean that these craft were piloted by people or beings who appear to play a central role in the event. They must have been part of the crucifixion story, at least as taught by the Georgian Orthodox Church. .”

Conspiracy theorists dig further: “Were early artists and the orthodox church aware of certain facts about ancient aliens that have been veiled from us today?”
