Oddly enough, although a technician reported the incident to the police on Wednesday, November 29, the report indicated that the tower had been discovered missing on March 31. The police filed an FIR, citing Section 379 (theft) of the IPC, based on the technician’s information. complaint.
The technician explained in the complaint that not only the tower was missing, but also a shelter, electrical accessories and various other equipment constituting the entire mobile tower, worth over Rs 8.5 lakh.

The tower was stolen from Ujjain village in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh.

In his complaint, Rajesh Kumar Yadav, the technician, mentioned that his company had installed a tower at the beginning of the year, specifically in January, in the field belonging to Ubid Ullah, located in Ujjaini village within Kaushambi district.
Yadav mentioned that during his inspection visit to the site on March 31, 2023, he found that the entire tower, along with all associated paraphernalia, had disappeared without leaving any trace.
The thieves who stole the tower and equipment have not yet been caught.
