Due to its recognition at that time, the video went viral in a matter of hours. In this recording she appears with her boyfriend, with whom she shared a 10-month relationship, while in the middle of drinks he abused her trust.
Karina Soto never wanted to talk about what happened, but after 16 years she decided to present her case in front of her friend, Tatiana Franco, on her podcast and gave details of what she experienced that day.

Amid all the problems she faced, the presenter always highlighted that she received the support of her loved ones to overcome this difficult episode and says that she kept her head held high despite the criticism.
“I am a woman with values, with principles, with a moderately conservative education, if not very conservative. Having a situation like that, having to face public ridicule and people’s assumptions was very hard, very difficult and I still have a hard time talking about it.“, he concluded.
