Ashish Dangwal is an Indian government teacher, educator and educationist, best known for his educational projects and programs in the Upper Himalayas and remote areas of Uttarakhand. He currently holds a position as Professor of Political Science at Government Inter College Garkhet Tehri Garhwal. Dangwal was offered to work with the International Indo-African Organization, but he turned down the job for a huge salary package from abroad for children’s education.

Ashish Dangwal was born in Uttarakhand, India. He attended a public school in Rudraprayag Uttarakhand, where he developed his deep interest in education in mountainous and remote areas. He studied from Jayanti High School and graduated from DAV PG College, Dehradun and Delhi University. Dangwal has completed a diploma in Disaster Management.

Career
After graduating in 2013, Ashish started working with an NGO. He also did a postgraduate degree in political science and became a government professor in 2017. His first duty station was in the Indochina border area in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. He did tremendous work in the field of education for 3 years in that very backward area. As a result, he receives the love of all peoples and children.
But by government order at the end of 2019 he was transferred from that area to another place. When he left his first school, all the local towns and schoolchildren cried on the day of his departure and efforts were made to stop him.
