A mother in Connecticut was arrested and charged with driving under the influence while dropping her son off at high school on Monday, according to authorities.
Christina Morrissette, 33, of Mashantucket, was arrested shortly before noon when police were alerted to an intoxicated person at Ledyard High School, the Hartford Courant reported.
Morrissette allegedly entered the parent drop-off area and began “behaving erratically” while dropping off her son, the outlet said, citing school officials.
Morrissette then failed multiple field sobriety tests and was charged with driving under the influence and risk of injury to a minor.
His bail was set at $7,500, the Hartford Courant wrote.
The Ledyard Police Department did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment on the case.
