OceanGate, the company responsible for operating the Titanic-bound deep-sea submersible, issued a statement Thursday, expressing its belief that the five people aboard the ship, including its chief executive Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and her son Suleman Dawood , Hamish Harding , and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have tragically lost their lives.
