A drag queen who worked at the Colorado bar owned by Rep. Lauren Boebert’s “Beetlejuice” date claims she knows the controversial couple has been “dating for a while” and criticized the firebrand’s past “hate speech” toward the community: “At least I do it in my bed and not in a movie theater.”
Kendra Matic, who performed at Quinn Gallagher’s Aspen bar in January, told TMZ on Thursday that “everyone in town” has known about the Republican’s relationship for “months.”
“First date and someone touches your tits like that?” “He said,” she said, shaking her head and finger.
“I know they’ve been dating for a while, for months.”
Boebert, 36, was caught on camera allegedly groping Gallagher’s crotch while he fondled her breasts during the family’s performance at Denver’s Temple Hoyne Buell Theater on Sept. 10.
The Republican congresswoman was also accused by theater employees of vaping, singing, recording with her phone and disturbing others, which led to her and Gallagher being kicked out of the performance.
Matic said she was more interested in Gallagher’s relationship after the “Beetlejuice” scandal made headlines and was surprised to learn Boebert’s opinion on LGBTQ issues.
“After that, I liked this lady, Lauren Boebert, more and I saw so many things she said before that are horrible,” he told TMZ.

For example, the congresswoman demanded in May that shoppers “boycott ANY product North Face has ever made” after the brand’s “Summer of Pride” ad featured drag queen Pattie Gonia.
“How many times do we have to explain to the marketing departments of these disgusting companies that America is not a nation of degenerates?” he tweeted at the time, urging his followers to “make it as embarrassing to wear North Face as it is to drink Bud Light!”
Matic said she does not support the relationship between the politician and Gallagher because she “doesn’t like this girl” due to her “hate speech.”

“Who cares what I do in my bed… At least I do it in my bed and not in a theater,” he said sarcastically.
The drag performer, however, stands by Gallagher, who she says is an “amazing guy.”
“He opened the doors for me. At that time, I was the only drag queen working that night… I was the headlining performer,” she said. “That was incredible. It was an incredible night. He’s an incredible guy. He treated me very, very kind, very well.”

She said she would “of course” work at his bar again “if he called me,” as he said he wanted to do more shows like the one she performed in.
Earlier this week, the Denver district attorney declined to file charges against Boebert for her “inappropriate” “Beetlejuice” behavior.
“While Congresswoman Boebert’s conduct at the theater was clearly inappropriate and disrespectful, we conclude that it does not warrant criminal prosecution,” Matthew Jablow, a spokesman for the Denver District Attorney’s Office, told The Post.
