There has been news going viral over the internet regarding the East Midlands Airport. The authorities claim that a guy deplaned from an aircraft at East Midlands Airport because of a bomb alarm. The alert was raised, according to police, at around 17:15 BST on Monday after hearing reports of a guy claiming to have an explosive device. A suspect was detained after police and airport personnel reacted, but no sign of a harmful object was discovered. According to witnesses, there were delays on other planes in addition to the approximately three-hour delay on the Jet2 trip to Turkey. At 16:45, the flight was supposed to leave for Antalya, however, it didn’t take off until 20:18.
