Florida woman beat her mother, stole her car, then hit her with it: cops

A Florida woman allegedly punched her own mother after an argument and then stole her car and hit her with it, according to police.

Amber Scheuren-Rusnak, 25, was photographed with a wide smile in a mugshot released by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office after she was charged with aggravated assault and carjacking for Thursday’s rampage.

A witness called 911 around noon that day to report the chaos, which occurred on Temple Street in Cocoa, Florida, according to Fox 35 Orlando.

Officers arrived and found Scheuren-Rusnak’s mother injured and treated her.

Authorities then took her to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

Meanwhile, police were searching for Scheuren-Rusnak, who fled in his mother’s car.

They later found the vehicle abandoned, and an officer and his K-9 located Scheuren-Rusnak, who was allegedly trying to hide nearby.
