Gayathry Rajiv is an Indian singer hailing from Kakkanad, Kerala. Biography
Gayathry Rajiv was born on November 25 in Kakkanad, Kerala. He attended St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery, for his secondary education. After completing high school, Gayathry studied at the School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology. He is currently studying at IIT Bhubaneswar, where he remains since 2020.
Gayathry is originally from Kerala but moved to Odisha to pursue her studies at IIT Bhubaneswar. She has progressed from her early education in Kerala to pursuing her higher studies at two renowned institutions, Cochin University and IIT Bhubaneswar.
During her studies, Gayathry developed an interest in singing. She started singing covers from Malayalam cinema and uploading them on her YouTube channel and other social media platforms. Later she began working with an orchestra where he demonstrated his vocal talent. This led to Gayathry appearing as a contestant in some Malayalam singing reality shows.
In November 2023, he gained immense popularity after appearing as a contestant on the most popular reality show, Indian Idol. She appeared as the 15th contestant, but was the first to be eliminated on November 12, 2023 during season 14 of Indian Idol.
