JE Writing: In Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli, a truck carrying around 200 cartons of beer delivered an unexpected ‘gift’ to locals after it overturned on Tuesday. The incident took place on the Bayyavaram National Highway.
The incident was followed by a frenzy of people rushing to the crash site and grabbing beer bottles lying on the road.
Several videos of the chaos at the crash site have gone viral on the internet. In the many videos, excited people can be seen collecting as many beer bottles as they could and walking away with them. They are seen rummaging through beer crates while searching for bottles of good alcohol.

According to the information available, the vehicle overturned after the driver lost control of the truck. As soon as the locals noticed the beer bottles lying on the road, they rushed to collect them. They later fled the place. Traffic was reportedly disrupted for some time as the truck lay on the ground.

“A similar incident happened at DND, maybe 1/2 years ago and I got stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour. When I finally got to the spot, I saw bottles of king deer on the road and people stopping their cars to pick up as many as they could,” another Twitter user joked.
