Honduran portrays ‘mamita’, a Tiktoker grandmother whose death shocked the networks

The Honduran content creator Lucas Guerra, known for creating art with his drawings, this time captured a beloved character in the country: ‘Mamita’.

The death of Mrs. Isabel Montoya, 89 years old, who was known for creating videos with her grandson Jonathan Osorio, shocked Honduras, so Lucas created a portrait of her to immortalize her with his pencil and paper.

The creator indicated that many of his followers asked him for videos to create a ‘mommy’ drawing, so he did not hesitate to get to work and make it.

Although he was presented with an obstacle where he made his drawings, the power went out in the place, it did not prevent him from continuing to work and finish his art.

“The power went out and I had to use the flashlight on my phone because I wanted to do my drawing, since one with colored pencils costs a lot,” he said.

Guerra indicated that he felt despite the news of his grandmother’s death and that he felt proud to be able to portray her.

“At first I didn’t believe the news, I don’t believe it that videos of her with her peculiar way of being and speaking will no longer appear, it was another bummer,” said the young man.

At the end of the drawing, Lucas shows it on the camera and you can see the happy mommy’s face, with a smile that characterized her in her videos.

“I tried hard to make this drawing a way to remember her, may she rest in peace, mommy,” she concluded.
