Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer can remain free on bail while he appeals his conviction on fraud charges to the Supreme Court, a federal judge ruled Friday.

His appeal was rejected by an appeals court in June and he has since sought redress in the Supreme Court.

Archer was found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and securities fraud after a trial in June 2018.
Federal prosecutors argued that Archer and his two co-defendants purchased more than $60 million in Oglala Sioux bonds and used it to “build a mega financial services company,” rather than an annuity, according to prosecutors.
Hunter, who was a vice president at the financial services company and obtained up to $200,000, was not charged in connection with the scheme.
