Janani Ashok Kumar was born on November 28, 1992 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He did his schooling from PSGR Krishnammal Higher Secondary School and then went to Bharathiar University, where he obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc) degree.
Career
Janani Kumar started her career during her college years and participated in many modeling and ramp walking competitions. In 2015, she auditioned for the Tamil romantic comedy film Nannbenda and made her debut as a supporting actress. After that, Janani got the opportunity to make her debut in the television industry when she first appeared in Star Vijay’s drama soap opera Mappillai as the lead actress Janani Kamal in 2016.
Janani then appeared in many serials like Sembaruthi (2017), Mouna Ragam (2017), Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar (2018) and Ayutha Ezhuthu (2019-21). In 2023, Janani made a cameo appearance in Aha Tamil soap opera Vera Maari Office as Nisha alongside RJ Sarithiran and Vishnu.
