Video Police spraying mace on a group of women fighters
In a recent video that has gone viral, a police officer is shown spraying mace on a group of women who are fighting aggressively. User @u/HejdaaNils posted the video under the Public Freakout group on Reddit on May 12, 2023. Other Black women were depicted violently beating each other as their bags and other possessions continued to fall and scatter all over the floor. They also lost some of their wigs in the process. People passing by were seen using their iPhones to record the altercation. The police officer then calmly left the scene after casually spraying the woman with a mace.
For a brief moment, the group scattered, but a couple of them quickly resumed the fight a few meters away. They received another fumigation with maces. The other people on the crowded road also appeared to be exposed to some of the contaminants. The person filming this particular video also appeared to have ingested some of the maces because she started coughing and rode away on her skateboard. After viewing the footage, one user @Zcrash claimed that the police officer used a mace to stop the fight and de-escalate the situation.
