The living room in this disconcerting photograph includes a sofa, a chair and a clothesline. It is reasonable that people would have difficulty locating the kittens, since the objects draw the viewer’s attention.
The area features numerous stuffed Beanie Babies, toy cars, baseball memorabilia and other items. But some clues suggest there could be real cats in the image.
That includes the kennel seen in the lower left corner of the image. Between two fully equipped shelves, a clothesline and a desktop monitor.
If a cat wants to sleep peacefully, this basement is the ideal place for it to do so.

The orange cat curled up in the chair under the desktop computer is the easiest to find. A black cat can be seen sleeping on top of a scratching post a few inches to the left.
It’s a little difficult to find the other two kittens. On the right side of the image, one is curled up in the space between the sofa and its cushions.
The hardest cat to find is hidden inside the cardboard box on top of the kennel.
