Pawan Singh [nick name – Power Star & Sher Singh] is an Indian Bhojpuri actor and media personality. He is known for his excellent work in Bhopuri films like Daraar, Pratigya, Pyaar Bina Chain Kaha, Saiyyan Superstar, etc. Apart from his acting, he has also built his career in the field of music composition and production. He began his musical career by playing the harmonium in singing concerts. He made his debut with the album Odhaniya Wali in 1997.
Birth and early life
Pawan Singh was born on January 5, 1986 in a Rajput family, in Jokahri village near Arrah, Bihar. His father’s name is Rama Shakar Singh and his mother’s name is Pratima Singh, his sister’s name is Mala Singh and he has two elder brothers.
Pawan did his primary schooling in Kolkata and his intermediate schooling at HNK High School, Arrah. Furthermore, he did his college studies at Maharaja College, Arrah. He learned music from his uncle Ajit Singh.

Career
Pawan made his debut with the album Odhaniya Wali in 1997, and then started his film career through the film Rangli Chunariya Tohre Naam in 2007. He released the music album, Lolipop Lagelu, in 2008 and became famous in the music industry. He received an award in 2016 for Best Male Singer at the Bhojpuri International Film Awards. In 2020, Pawan made his Bollywood debut in the film Kamariya Hila Rahi Hai. He later made a Bollywood song, Babuni Tere Rang Me.
In 2021, Pawan sang a Chhath song with Sonu Nigam featuring Khushboo Jain. Later, she also sang famous Bollywood songs in Bhojpuri like Lut Gye and Barish Ban Jana. Pawan, after doing the covers, remade the popular Hindi song Tumsa Koi Pyara from the film Raja Babu that released in 1994.

Personal life
Pawan married Neelam Singh on December 1, 2014. Later, his wife committed suicide at their home in Andheri, Mumbai. She was in news for her affairs with many Bhojpuri actresses like Kaavya Singh, Rani Chatterjee, Urvashi Chaudhari and also for her relationship with Akshara Singh.
Pawan wooed fashion designer Jyoti Singh on March 5, 2018. The next day, they tied the knot again at a hotel in Chitbaragaon, Ballia, according to Hindu customs.
