Birth and early life
Pranutan was born on March 10, 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the son of actor Mohnish Bahl and actress Aarti Bahl. He belongs to a Hindu Khatri family. He has a younger sister, Krishaa Bahl, in the family. Nutan, his late maternal grandmother, was a well-known actress and Rajnish Bahl, his late paternal grandfather, was a naval lieutenant commander.
Pranutan had aspired to be an actress since she was a child. She completed her studies at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, and her undergraduate studies at Government Law College Mumbai. She has a Bachelor of Legal Science and a Bachelor of Laws (BLS LLB) and a Master of Laws (LL.M).
