Hackers score points if they can make artificial intelligence (AI) disobey their own laws. The winning hacker discovered multiple flaws. A chatbot, for example, reveals a credit card number that was supposed to be kept private.
Rumman Chowdhury is the founder of the non-profit organization Human Intelligence. At the request of another organization, the organization attempts to identify digital security weaknesses and then reports it to that organization. This is known as red teaming. As a result, it is common practice to reward hackers for discovering holes in computer systems.
The goal of gathering hackers like this in August was to make it harder to hack the AI system. Identify and fix AI failures. to avoid the possibility of discovery after public exposure.
