Sam Bankman-Fried warned Caroline Ellison ‘I don’t feel happiness’ on list of pros and cons of dating him: book

Disgraced FTX co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried bizarrely presented his on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend Caroline Ellison with a list of pros and cons of dating him, warning her: “I don’t feel happiness,” according to a new book.

The list of negatives apparently outweighed the positives in the 2018 memo sent to her now-ex-lover Ellison, who at the time was serving as CEO of another of Bankman-Fried’s companies, Alameda Research, wrote the author of ” The Big Short”, Michael Lewis. in a new book about the accused scammer, according to reports.

Bankman-Fried’s trial began this week in Manhattan federal court as the 31-year-old former cryptocurrency genius faces a slew of federal charges over allegations he embezzled FTX client funds to cover losses at Alameda.

Before having to worry about spending more than 100 years in prison, Bankman-Fried was mulling over whether to continue her relationship with Ellison.

The list, published in the book, explains how he has trouble respecting others and often enjoys being alone, Business Insider reported.

As for the pros, Bankman-Fried cheekily mentioned, “I really like to fuck you” twice, Insider reported. He also reportedly said they had shared interests and that he enjoyed talking to her.

He congratulated her on being a smart, impressive and good person, the Times reported.

The memo came after Ellison sent Bankman-Fried a four-page message admitting that her feelings for him “consume a lot of my mental space” while also noting concerns she had about how their relationship could affect her jobs, Insider reported.

She also believed he was sending mixed signals.

“Telling me that he felt conflicted about having sex with me, then having sex with me, then ignoring me for a few months,” the book he wrote states.

But the pros and cons did not deter Ellison, and she reportedly continued to maintain a relationship with Bankman-Fried, Lewis wrote.

Ellison pleaded guilty to fraud charges late last year.
