The registration process for the UPSC CDS 2 2023 exam begins at upsc.gov.in; Check eligibility criteria, salary and other important details

Registration for UPSC CDS II Exam 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has started the registration process for UPSC CDS II Exam 2023. Candidates can apply at upsc.gov.in.

The Union Public Service Commission began the registration process for the 2023 UPSC CDS II exam on Wednesday. The last date to apply will be June 6. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC CDS 2 2023 exam will take place on September 3. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 349 vacancies at IMA (Indian Military Academy), INA (Indian Naval Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy) and OTA (Officer Training Academy).

Indian Military Academy (IMA)– 100 posts

Indian Naval Academy (INA): 32 posts

Air Force Academy (AFA): 32 positions

Officer Training Academy (Men’s SSC Course) — 169 positions

Officer Training Academy (Women’s SSC Non-Technical Course): 16 positions

UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2023 Registration: Educational Qualifications

Indian Military Academy (IMA): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. The age limit should be 19 to 24 years.

Indian Naval Academy (INA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university or institute. The age limit should be 19 to 24 years.

Air Force Academy (AFA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute with physics and mathematics as subjects in their 10+2 or bachelor’s degree. The age limit should be 20-24 years.

Officer Training Academy (Men’s SSC Course) — Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university. The age limit should be between 19 and 25 years.

Officer Training Academy (SSC Non-Technical Course for Women): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute. The age limit should be between 19 and 25 years.

Lieutenant – Rs 56,100 -1,77,500 (Level 10)

Captain– Rs 61,300- 1,93,900 (Level 10 B)

Major – Rs 69,400 – 2,07,200 (Tier 11)

Lieutenant Colonel – Rs 1,21,200 – 2,12,400 (Tier 12A)

Colonel – Rs 1,30,600-2,15,900 (Tier 13)

Brigadier – Rs 1,39,600-2,17,600 (Tier 13A)

Major General: 144,200 rupees-2 18,200 rupees (level 14)

Lieutenant General HAG Scale – Rs 1,82,200-2,24,100 (Tier 15)

HAG+Scale: 205,400 rupees – 224,400 rupees (level 16)

VCOAS/Army Cdr/ Lieutenant General (NFSG)–Rs 2,25,000/-(fixed) (Tier 17)

COAS– 2,50,000/-(flat) (Level 18)

UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2023 Registration – Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs 200 as the application fee. While SC, ST and Female candidates will not have to pay any fee.
