Jake Dryan shared the video on his Instagram account with the caption, “Happy Gujarati Day 🇮🇳 ❤️ Kem Cho?”
The chef begins by cutting methi or fenugreek leaves and placing them in a bowl. He then uses a mortar and pestle to pound the green chillies and adds them to the chopped methi. Yogurt, turmeric and red chili powder are then added, as well as ajwain and sesame seeds. The combination also contains hing and salt. Jake Dryan then adds oil and whole wheat flour to the ingredients to make a dough. Next, he makes small balls of dough and flattens them with dry flour.

Once the thepla is formed, Jake places it in a frying pan, and the flatbreads quickly turn golden brown. The chef is then seen devouring the delicious methi theplas with green chillies and chutney.
Lots of people eat plas for breakfast, but most of us can’t stop eating them at any point in the day. And it seems that the attractiveness of plas has been appreciated by other countries as well.
