After arriving at the scene, the agents discovered that a woman was lying in bed but unconscious. The ambulance officer who came from Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital declared the girl dead on the spot. However, paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital. The victim is said to be 24 years old, while the suspect is 23 years old. Hassan added that three other people who were at the scene were also detained along with the girl’s boyfriend. He said: “A 23-year-old man who is also the victim’s boyfriend admitted to hitting the woman and was arrested along with three other people who were at the scene of the incident.”
The other three people arrested are between the ages of 29 and 65 and are said to be family members of the suspect. The preliminary investigation found that the couple lived on the top floor of the store with their eight-month-old baby. All four people arrested have reportedly tested positive for methamphetamine. An investigation is still underway and the motive for the murder is still unknown. The case is being investigated under section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
