According to Sgt. Melody Cutler with the Unified Police Department said they received a call around 12:22 p.m. Wednesday. Cook’s girlfriend reportedly screamed for help, Cutler revealed. The incident occurred 12 days after two climbers fell in a different area of Big Cottonwood Canyon, killing one and seriously injuring the other.
