The 42-year-old Skims founder posted a TikTok of Angelina Wiley on Friday, July 14, to her Instagram Story. A 22-year-old Kansas City native survived a mass shooting in Kansas City, Missouri earlier this year. Since it was posted on May 18, more than 1.4 million people have viewed the TikTok as a result of other TikTokers tagging Kim Kardashian in the hope that she will watch the video. On her Instagram Story, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star captioned the reposted video with “Wowwww.”

In March of last year, the 22-year-old revealed in a series of videos that while she was waiting for a Lyft around 1:30 a.m., she had decided to grab some food from a neighboring food truck. As Wiley and her friend crossed the street, she heard “people fighting,” and then a man “wearing a ski mask” began shooting. Wiley said in the video: “Kim Kardashian saved my life.”
During an incident on New Year’s Day, she reportedly explained that she was shot “four times”. She said: “Under my dress, I was wearing a Skis Shaping jumpsuit, the night I was shot. He was so tight on me that he literally kept me from bleeding to death.” She has taken to TikTok to share updates on her progress and spread awareness about gun violence.
