Finding your dream career is never simple, especially if you have a job interview coming up.
However, one woman has disclosed some significant red flags that prospective employees should be aware of throughout the interview process.
It has a few easy questions that should send prospective employees back to the job centre.

In a now-viral TikTok video, user @lifelittlelies illustrates how even seemingly innocuous inquiries during a job interview are prohibited.
“First and foremost, they cannot ask you about your age, race, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or marital status because those factors are not supposed to be considered when someone is making a hiring decision about you,” she stated emphatically.
Some questions are also unlawful
Unsurprisingly, those inquiries are also unlawful in the UK under the Equality Act since they may lead to discrimination by potential employers.
However, there are some unexpected questions that you should never answer during a job interview.
“You should also be answering any questions that sound something like this: “‘Do you socially drink?'” says the TikToker.
Though it appears to be unproblematic, this could force you to provide information with which you are not comfortable.
“If you’re in recovery from alcoholism, that question would compel you to reveal information protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act,” she explains.
Similar regulations in the UK would make this illegal, as you cannot be discriminated against for any ailment, physical or mental.
Other well-disguised queries could include your intention to have children or your nationality.
“Well, your national origin is protected information….[also] your familial status cannot be the reason you are denied a job,” she states emphatically to her followers.
