“On January 22, around 100 chartered planes will land at the Ayodhya airport to witness the ‘pran pratishtha’ event of the Ram Temple. This would also lead us to assess the potential of the Ayodhya airport,” the CM said. He went on to say, “I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving Uttar Pradesh its fourth international airport.”

The airport could handle 10 lakh passengers per year in the first phase and 60 lakh travelers per year after the second phase. The first phase of the modern airport is estimated to cost around Rs 1,450 crore.
