A 17-year-old girl wanted for allegedly shooting five people after being turned away at a Denver bar last month has been arrested more than 900 miles away in California.
Denver Police Department officers tracked Keanna Rosenburgh to a location in the city of Barstow in San Bernardino County on Thursday, with the help of the FBI and local police.
Rosenburgh was being held in California on eight counts of attempted first-degree murder investigation, police said in a news update Friday.
The mass shooting occurred on September 16 outside country singer Dierks Bentley’s busy Whiskey Row bar in downtown Denver.
The shooter, later identified by police as Rosenburgh, was allegedly angry after security guards prevented him from entering the drinking establishment because they suspected he was using a fake ID, station KDVR reported at the time.

As seen on surveillance video, the teen pulled out a gun and unleashed a volley of gunfire into the packed nightclub.
The bullets hit five innocent bystanders, who police said were not the intended targets.

Five days later, Rosenburgh was identified as the main suspect in the mass shooting thanks to tips from the community.
“Through extensive investigative efforts, Denver Police Fugitive Unit investigators determined that the suspect was in Barstow, California, and further investigation and surveillance led to the arrest this morning,” police said in the statement. of press.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office will make the final determination on the teen suspect’s charges and whether she will be tried as an adult. Some aspects of the investigation were not made public because Rosenburgh is a minor.
