A new optical illusion reveals whether you are an optimist or a procrastinator

The following optical illusion is intended to show whether you are sensible or short-tempered based on what your eyes are drawn to first.

What you first understand in the black and white sketch, according to content creator Mia Yilin, can help you better understand your personality. What is the first thing you see in this amazing image?

There are two distinct elements visible in the image. “The first thing you see says a lot about your personality,” Yilin commented.

If you saw an old woman for the first time

You are a non-confrontational person if you meet an elderly woman for the first time.

“You are someone who would rather let others have their way than waste time arguing,” he explained. “When it comes to relationships, you are very logical and sensible, and it is impossible to fool you.”

If you looked at the young man first

If you were the first to notice the young woman, you have a short fuse.

“You can get frustrated easily,” he said. “However, you can also forgive and move on quickly. You hate asking for help and prefer to do things on your own.”

The drawing is a famous “My Wife and My Mother-in-Law” optical illusion in which an elderly woman looks to the left and a young woman looks away, looking over her right shoulder.

The drawing first appeared on a German postcard in 1888. Yilin’s video has been viewed 40,000 times and many commented that her version was “perfect.”

“I’m curious how these things are always done so well,” said one. “Young woman is very obvious,” said another, “but when you say old woman, I see it very clearly.” One person proposed: “My fuse is very short because I can’t see the old lady.”

Many admitted, however, that they had difficulty seeing one or both.
