A paradise! Get to know the waterfalls of Honduras; one inspired by Disney

Honduras is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful countries in the world, thanks to its biodiversity and nature, which is found throughout its 18 departments.

Given this, the catracho Renán Isaí Rivera Muñoz has dedicated himself to traveling through various parts of the country to photograph the wonderful waterfalls it has with his camera.

Through TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, he has shared the videos of the waterfalls and falls. Below we show them:

La Estanzuela Waterfall, Marcalá, La Paz

This waterfall, located in the village of the same name, measures 25 meters high and ends in a pool, which is used for visitors to cool off.

Zacate River Waterfall, La Ceiba

This small waterfall is located at the end of the Zacate River trail, located in Pico Bonito, La Ceiba, Atlántida, northern Honduras.

El Bejuco Waterfall, La Ceiba

Again in Pico Bonito, located in the “bride of Honduras”, you can find a beautiful waterfall, it has a drop of 600 meters and can be reached by crossing the Cangrejal River bridge.

Gualmance Waterfall, Intibucá

With a height of 80 meters, the waterfall, which in Lenca means “Place of abundant Guacales”, is part of the Lenca route and is located in Chupucay, La Esperanza, Intibucá.

Rio Grande Waterfall, Intibucá

With a waterfall of 120 meters, it is considered one of the highest in Honduras and one of the most striking tourist sites for its flora and fauna. To get there it is a 25 minute walk.

Yamaranguila Waterfall, Intibucá

Once again, the west of the country is the place that hides the wonderful San Buenaventura waterfall, also known as the Yamaranguila waterfall, which has a drop of about 150 meters.

Pulhapanzak Waterfall

It is perhaps the best known, to the extent that it served as inspiration for the Disney film, The Jungle Book of 1967. The waterfall located north of Lake Yojoa has a height of 43 meters.
