Career
Aastad started his career with the Marathi play Lagna Kallol and is involved in several plays like Sangeet Lagnakallol, Kahe Kabir, Proposal and many others. She started her career with the Marathi television drama series Vadalvaat. She worked in the television drama series Tuzyavina.
In 2005, Aastad participated in Zee Marathi’s popular drama series Oon Paus. He was the presenter of Saam TV. He played the role of Nikhil Balkrishna Shastri in the family mystery drama series Asambhav from 2007 to 2009. He played Soham Sardeshmukh in the long-running drama series Pudhcha Paaul from 2011 to 2017. In 2015, he appeared as Raghav, Sarawati’s husband, in the drama series Saraswati.
Apart from television, Aastad also made his film debut with Nirop in 2007. He played the lead role of Ishant alongside Sameer Dharmadhikari, Devika Daftardar and Gauri Kulkarni. In 2018, he acted in the comedy film Baap Re Baap Dokyala Taap as Pankaj in 2008.
