Lawren Hand and Brook Crumley Hand were the parents of Abby, who was born on December 8, 2002. Upon completing her studies at Abraham Baldwin College (ABAC) and graduating from Berrien High School in 2021, she intended to enroll in the semester of Winter 2024. at Valdosta State University. At ABAC, Abby was active in the Sigma Alpha sorority and valued the friendship of her classmates. Abby loved animals and pets more than academics.

Mark Stone will officiate at the funeral, which will be held at the Tifton Chapel of the Bowen-Donaldson Funeral Home.
