Career
Chellam was passionate about music since her childhood. However, she never managed to make a career in the singing industry. She wanted to become a public accountant. In 2007, Chellam got the opportunity to participate in a singing reality show. Amul Star Voice of India broadcast on Star Plus. She was among the 12 finalists on the show.
She also participated in other singing reality shows like Zee Marathi. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Aao Jhume Gaaye. In 2010 she participated in Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Hindi) where she caught the attention of the audience and the judges with her euphonious voice. Daler Mehndi was her mentor on the show.
Chellam has sung many songs for regional and Hindi cinema. She gave her voice in movie songs like Kamaal Dhammal Malamaal, Miley Naa Miley Hum, Dombari etc
