Acharya Prashant is an Indian author, Advaita educator, and animal activist. He teaches 17 types of Gita and 60 types of Upanishads. He founded a non-profit organization called Prashant Advait Foundation. The State Governor congratulated him at a public function for setting a new benchmark in the Board examination and for being an NTSE scholar.

He did his initial education in Uttar Pradesh. He then completed his mechanical engineering degree from IIT Delhi and his postgraduate degree from IIM Ahmedabad.

Career
Prashant worked for the Indian civil services for a short time before starting out as a Vedanta teacher and author. He worked in companies and at the age of 28 he said goodbye to corporate life and founded Advait Life-Education to create a new humanity through intelligent spirituality.
Currently the founder and director of Advait Life-Education and an NGO, Prashant Advait Foundation, he has written more than 25 books on spirituality and is an established authority on Vedanta.
