Career
Akasa began his singing career with popular singer Mika Singh’s band. She subsequently appeared in many television shows. She rose to fame after the Star Plus television show. Raw Star of India 2014 in which she acted opposite Yo Yo Honey Singh and Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh Reshammiya also promised her a breakthrough in Bollywood.
Akasa made her Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam song “Kheech Meri Photo”, composed by Himesh Reshammiya and co-sung by Darshan Raval, Neeti Mohan. This song became extremely popular and Akasha was also praised. She later provided her voice in many films like Love Aaj Kal, Good Newwz, Drive, Bharat, etc.
