Ankith Koyya was born on September 27, 1995 in Hyderabad, Telangana in a Hindu family. He was passionate about acting since childhood and, after high school, he enrolled at GITAM Deemed University, where he initially acquired nuances in acting.
Ankith debuted as an actor in 2016 with the short film Yedhane Vadili Vellipomake, which nominated him for the SIIM Awards 2017 for Best Supporting Actor. He subsequently starred in Majili (2019) and Aswathama (2020). Ankith starred in the film Johaar, directed by Teja Marni, alongside actors like Naina Ganguly, Esther Anil and Dayanand Reddy. In 2022, he appeared in Disney+ Hotstar web series 9 Hours as Nandu.
