Apostle ‘Chago’ accuses those who decorate their homes at Christmas of being idolaters

The renowned Honduran religious ‘leader’, Santiago Zúniga, warned Christians that they should not decorate their homes for Christmas, according to him, there is a powerful reason to follow his advice.

According to the apostle ‘Chago’, the Christmas Tree and the decorations placed carry a curse for homes, and he also describes these decorations as “devil’s garbage.”

Zuniga quoted the Bible, saying that in Joshua 6:18 it reads as follows: “But beware of the accursed; neither touch nor take anything of the accursed, lest you make the camp of Israel accursed, and trouble it.” .

Zúniga focused specifically on the word anathema in that verse, a word that according to the dictionary of the Spanish language means cursed. The religious pointed out that those who celebrate Christmas are “banished from God.”

“They are going to burn the fire because Joshua 6:18 says ‘do not bring the accursed thing to your house’ and you carry it with those trees and little lights that turn on and off,” he said.

According to the apostle, this is “idolatry” since it is only a pagan tradition that emerged in Germany and Scandinavia in the 16th and 17th centuries.

However, the Bible does not mention this tradition, so religious people do not condemn it and let people make their own decision.
