Apple, the Cupertino-based tech giant, has released a support document offering solutions for battery drain and no data on iOS 14 and WatchOS 7.
The supporting document has been published on their website.
The document came at a time when several users have been reporting battery life complaints even after updating their iPhones to iOS 14.0.1.
Instead of suggesting anything in particular, Apple asked its users to erase all content and settings on the iPhone. It could help revive battery life, Apple said.

There are seven bulleted issues that Apple lists in the document. Here are the problems:
- Your workout route maps are missing in the Fitness app on iPhone for previous GPS workouts from your Apple Watch.
- Activity, heart rate, or other health-related apps won’t launch or load data on your Apple Watch.
- The Fitness or Health app won’t launch or load data on your iPhone.
- The Health or Fitness app reports an inaccurate amount of data storage on your iPhone.
- The Activity app reports an inaccurate amount of data storage on your Apple Watch.
- Data for ambient sound levels or headphone audio levels on Apple Watch is missing from the Health app on iPhone.
- Increased battery consumption on your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Apple asks users who experience two or more of the above issues to follow a few steps.
According to Apple, iPhone users should unpair their phones and look, and create an iCloud backup.
Once this is done, users will need to erase all settings and content on the iPhone. After that, Apple recommended restoring backed up data to iPhone and Watch.
These steps can “prevent data loss in the future,” according to Apple. You will find here the article that Apple published on September 30.
