Arizona man threatens to ‘execute’ rabbi and ‘every other JEWISH he can find’ if criminal charges are not dropped

An Arizona man with a history of threatening local leaders was arrested Saturday for threatening to execute a local rabbi and “all the other JEWS he can find tonight at midnight on his Sabbath.”

Jeffrey Mindock, 50, allegedly sent an anti-Semitic email with the subject line “HITLER WAS A RIGHT RABBI” to the religious leader of a Scottsdale synagogue the morning before his arrest, according to an arrest affidavit viewed by The Post.

Mindock brutally berated the Jewish people in the message before attempting to intimidate the rabbi into helping him acquit Mindock of the criminal charges he faces in state district court for previously threatening the lives of other locals.

“As I watch the atrocities unfolding in Palestine, I have come to realize that YOU are to blame for all the evil in this world. Zionist Jews control everything from the courts to the banks to the media,” Mindock allegedly wrote.

“We both know that you are in control. I give you until midnight tonight to convince yours truly, the Fifth District Court of Utah. [sic] Drop the charges against me.

“If you do not use your influence to correct this evil, I will execute you and all the other JEWS I can find tonight at midnight on your Sabbath.”

Mindock then offered to meet with the rabbi in person to continue communicating before signing the email: “Shalom, Viktor Sitkevicz.”

Despite using an email domain owned by a foreign entity to conceal his true location, Mindock volunteered his address to meet with the rabbi in person, federal authorities said.

The location matched motor vehicle records that listed the address as Mindock’s home in Tempe.

The disturbing email was not the first Mindock sent since he was charged in 2021 with threatening to murder a community member, telling him he had enough guns, ammunition and explosives to kill SWAT teams, authorities said.

In August, Mindock allegedly sent a threatening email to a lawyer and the “Zionist-sympathizing” judge assigned to the case, stating in the subject line that the judge “will die.”

Mindock demanded that the court schedule a “hearing/execution” date in which he would personally hang the judge for “helping the Israelites” in pursuing a warrant against Mindock after he allegedly threatened to kill another person.

“He will be hanged for his crime,” said the email, which also included Mindock’s home address and was sent from an address containing the word “sitkevicz.”

During his initial court appearance, he allegedly threatened to “execute” another judge and two other people if the judge ruled against him, adding that Unibomber Ted Kaczynski is his “hero.”

He was also the subject of an FBI investigation in 2020 for threatening a neighbor’s life and then telling police he quietly refused to be arrested.

“It’s going to end badly for him,” Mindock said, according to the documents.
