Modern wedding invitations have drastically moved away from the norm. The combination of ingenuity and quirkiness has spawned a competitive trend on the Internet, with each couple striving to outdo the other.
One couple in particular took on this creative adventure with enthusiasm and created a card that blatantly declared their professions in a way that set off a virtual storm on the Internet – and not always for the best reasons!

@Shaiibi0 shared the now viral photo on microblogging site ‘X’. Half show the army uniform, although it is not clear which country. The other half shows a family doctor’s coat.

On the one hand, the loud advertisement of “Captain Adnan” decorated the outfit, replete with the camouflage uniform hues appropriate for a captain. On the other side, the canvas changed to a standard white doctor’s coat, proudly embroidered with “Dr. Ramsha.”
A harmonious combination of professions and uniforms naturally merged into the visual story of a unified marriage, topped by an exciting “button” of innovation.
How did people react on the Internet?
While some were captivated by the intelligence behind this innovative wedding invitation, others saw it as a superfluous display of theatrics, due to the perceived grandeur associated with their “highly regarded” professions. See the viral post here.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that experts have boldly displayed their knowledge in a wedding card. In a viral throwback photo, a couple of IIT alumni made sure their academic achievements took center stage.
The groom’s association with IIT Bombay and the bride’s association with IIT Delhi were proudly announced, with a tinge of cynicism in the comment: “All you need is love to get married.”
