Athulya was born on December 21, 1994 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to couple Ravi and Vijya Laxmi Ravi. Her real name is Divya Ravi. He has a brother named Divakar. After completing his studies, he pursued a Bachelor of Technology (IT) from Shri Krishna College, Coimbatore, and then pursued a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM University, Chennai.

Career
Athulya started her acting career by doing a short film called Palvaadi Kadhal, in which she played the role of Kavi. After that, she played the lead role of Athulya in the debut Tamil film Kadhal Kan Kattudhe (2017) and her performance in the film was highly appreciated by the audience. She later appeared in a film called Katha Nayagan (2017).
In 2018, Athulya worked in Yemaali as the character “Ri” (Ritu). In 2019, he appeared in two Tamil films called Naadodigal 2 and Suttu Pidikka Utharavu. In 2022, he worked on Disney+ Hotstar’s web series Cadaver, directed by Anoop Panicker.
