Australian YouTuber’s ATM robbery prank goes wrong and ends with a painful broken nose

YouTubers often do weird things to get views on their videos, and pranks are one of the most popular categories of such videos. It is often advised that a joke should not harm anyone; it’s fine as long as it’s in a light mood. But this youtuber hurt himself.

An old prank gone disastrously wrong is going viral again, as people are watching the YouTuber who pulled the trick get his nose broken.

YouTuber ATM robbery prank gone wrong

The prank was carried out in 2014 by the YouTube channel Reckless Youth, and in the video, one person appeared withdrawing money from an ATM while the other pretended to rob them right there on the street.

A guy in shorts and a white tank top would be at the ATM and would be attacked by a guy in a mask who would yell “Give me the money” and start wrestling with him.

You can no doubt already notice a host of problems with this hoax, one of which is that it’s not really joking with anyone because both parties are in on the joke.

Also, attempting to rob someone in broad daylight with a large crowd present increases the likelihood that someone will intervene, especially since the ‘thief’ was having a very difficult time getting the money.

The prank’s flaws were obvious in their earlier attempts at the video, as bystanders kept jumping to break things and YouTubers had to explain “just kidding” to those about to beat them out.

The YouTuber ended up with a broken nose before he could reveal the prank.

Despite the fact that her action was clearly a bad idea, the pranksters tried to pull her off until it went horribly wrong. They went through their routine of pretending to rob a man while he withdrew money from an ATM, but this time one of the members of the public who intervened had nothing.

Several men ran to grab the ‘thief’, and one punched him in the face before he could tell them it was a joke. The blow connected hard, and the imposter began to yell “it’s a hoax” again before groaning in pain.

The blow to the face had fractured his nose, causing blood to flow all over the floor. After the prank, the YouTubers explained that they had been conducting a “social experiment” to determine if people would intervene in a mugging and were stunned by the largely negative response.

People weren’t pleased with the alleged prank, with one saying the YouTuber “absolutely had it coming” and another saying there was “no scenario where he wouldn’t get hurt.” Someone else quipped, “play dumb games, get stupid rewards,” while many others expressed disdain for the “it’s a hoax” defense.
