The wedding was a spectacle planned and orchestrated by Dilip Popley for his daughter, Vidhi Popley. Dilip is a UAE-based diamond jeweler who recently made headlines for his spectacular wedding arrangements for his daughter.

How much dynamism is too much dynamism? Well, for an Indian wedding, this might be a taboo topic because nothing is “too much” when it comes to dazzling a desi wedding ceremony. However, Popley’s effort to give her daughter a celebration of her life took the Internet by storm. She hosted the ceremony on a private jet and invited family and close friends to bless the newlywed couple.
The businessman reflected on his plans and said, according to Khaleej Times“I have always dreamed of doing this for my daughter and there is no better place than Dubai as it fulfills all my dreams.”

The ceremony was held on Popley’s private Jetex Boeing 747 over the Dubai skyline. The plane traveled from Dubai to Onam during the ceremony. The festivities began at the Jetex VIP terminal near Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport.

Popley’s daughter Vidhi married Hridesh Sainani on air. The bride and groom boarded the plane along with the wedding guests to the tune of the song ‘Tune Maari Entriyaan’. The video, which went viral on the Internet, offers a quick tour of the ceremonial site. A portion of the plane was reserved for rituals, while the rest of the plane served as a rest area for the 350 extinct guests present on board.
