Bangalore is a city that has been under the internet microscope of late for all things shocking and sometimes even disturbing. From being exposed for his brutal rental interviews to being criticized by people on the internet for having some classist incidents, the city has seen its share of ups and downs on Twitter.

Bangalore neighbor leaves a polite note to get parking space
A recent tweet that went viral on the internet shows how Bangalore residents are not all bad. Twitter user Subhasis Das shared an image of a note taped to a car window. Das reported that the episode occurred in Koramangala, one of the largest slums in South Bengaluru.
By now everyone online knows that Bangalore has become somewhat of the content capital of the internet and it features some of the most interesting interactions that instantly ignite fire online. Das also noted this nature of the city when he captioned his photo, “Bengaluru: the city of epic content.”
The Bangalore resident shared how one of the neighbors placed a polite note on the car window to inform the owner that the spot they were using to park did not belong to them, while the neighbor claimed that they needed it to park their second car.
The note read: “Please do not park your car here! We had already asked him not to do it before. Please understand that we have been living in this area since 2000 and we have two cars. So we need a good amount of parking space. Return to your previous parking spot. Let’s be good and supportive neighbors.”

The internet was blown away by the neighbor’s courtesy note
It didn’t take long for the internet to compare this situation to the absurdity that would have ensued if the same situation had taken place in Gurgaon or Delhi. One user pointed out that if this was a Gurugram case, the note would have been left on the driver’s seat after the window was smashed to pieces as a warning.
Gurgaon m hota toh kaanch tod ke seat pe rakha hota same note

While one user did not think the situation was worthy of being labeled “peak Bengaluru” behaviour, the poster nevertheless pointed out how such clear and courteous communication was characteristic only of Bengaluru, as a similar situation would have led to violence in most other cities.
I don’t think you’ll find people communicating their concerns so politely in other places xDU usually these things end in violence

Another imagined how the inhabitants of Delhi would react in a similar situation and assured that instead of a note the neighbors would have ended up puncturing the car’s tires as a warning.
