He is known for playing the lead role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Star Pravah’s television show Jay Bhavani Jay Shivaji. Bhushan even received recognition for his role as Damodar Hari Chapekar in the ZEE5 Originals web series Gondya Aala Re.

Bhushan Pradhan was born on November 25, 1985 in Goregaon (Raigad) to parents Shashikant Pradhan and Seema Pradhan. He was born and raised there only. He completed his graduation in commerce from Symbiosis and pursued post-graduation in MBA (Marketing) from Sahyadri Institute, Pune.

Bhushan is best known for his work in the Marathi entertainment industry. He gained fame as a television actor and appeared in Marathi shows like Chaar Choughi, Olakh, Pinjara and Kunku. His first Marathi show was Ghe Bharari in 2007. He made his film debut with Prambi as Gangadhar in 2011. Bhushan has worked in many films like Satrangi Re (2011), Timepass (2014), Miss Match (2014), Coffee Ani Barach Kahi. (2015) and Shivya (2017), Ti Ani Itar (2017), Aamhi Doghi (2018), Re Raya (2018) and Tu Tithe Asave (2018), etc. In 2021, he appeared in the Marathi series Jay Bhavani Jay Shivaji as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
