Danny Masterson’s wife looked devastated as she left a California courthouse where her “That’s ’70s Show” star husband had just kissed her one last goodbye as he was taken into custody to serve a 30-year prison sentence for two rapes. .

Bijou Phillips, 43, hid behind large dark sunglasses and looked excited as she walked past photographers on the sidewalk after sentencing.

The broken kiss between the couple captured by a courtroom cartoonist was the only time he showed emotion during his sentencing hearing.

Masterson, 47, stood impassive as Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo handed down the maximum sentence and as his two victims described the trauma they had experienced at his hands.

“When you raped me, you robbed me,” one of the women testified in court, looking directly at the actor. “That is rape, a theft of the spirit.”

“You are pathetic, disturbed and completely violent,” he added. “The world is better off with you in prison.”

Masterson drugged and violently raped both women at his Hollywood-area home in 2003, at the height of his celebrity. He was convicted of the violations in May and sentenced on Thursday to consecutive terms of 15 years in prison, to be served consecutively.

The actor and Scientology member has maintained his innocence throughout the trial and his lawyers plan to file an appeal.

The other woman said Masterson “has not shown an ounce of remorse for the pain he caused” and said he belonged behind bars for the safety of all women.

While the women spoke directly to their rapist, he showed no visible reaction to their scathing testimony. He waived his right to speak before his sentencing and did not testify during the trial.

Phillips was less able to maintain his composure. At one point he started crying while he hid behind her big sunglasses.

The couple, married since 2011, share a 9-year-old daughter and Masterson’s lawyer said his life and the lives of his daughters will be affected by the judge’s decision.

“It’s your life that will be affected by what you decide today,” Shawn Holley told the judge before sentencing. “And the life of his 9-year-old daughter, who means everything to him and to whom he means everything.”

However, both victims said their lives were forever affected by Masterson’s violent rapes.

One of the women was born into the Church of Scientology and said she lost everything when she decided to denounce the Hollywood star she said the church sought to protect above all else.

“I lost everything. I lost my religion. I lost my ability to contact anyone I had known or loved my entire life,” he said. “I did not exist outside of the world of Scientology. I had to start my life over at 29 It seemed like the world I knew didn’t want me to live.”
