A billionaire family offers a salary of Rs 1 crore a year for a job babysitting dogs

It all sounds sensible until you find out that an American billionaire family living in the UK posted a job offer for a full-time dog sitter with a salary of $127,227 (over Rs 1 crore) a year. Yes, you read that number right!

The job description was posted on LinkedIn recently and quickly went viral as people were speechless after reading the job description specs. It read: “Our returning client is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced dog sitter to provide top-notch care for her two beloved dogs. They really are looking for someone at the top of their field who can ensure their dogs overall well-being, happiness and safety,” along with the huge salary offer.

The post was written by a consultant who works for Fairfax and Kensington, a domestic staffing agency hired by the billionaire family. According to recruiter George Dunn, who posted the posting online, it’s the first time the agency has posted such a job posting. He says that since he went up last week, the post has already seen almost 400 potential candidates.

People rushed to apply for the job even without having the required qualifications

In addition to being a masterful dog sitter, Dunn explains that clients also require the candidate to have “the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.” If she is thinking of applying for the job, unfortunately I have to inform her that they have closed the application process.
