Brandon Miller Murder Case Explained
Police testimony revealed that Brandon Jordan Miller was present at the crime scene of the fatal shooting that occurred on January 15 and transported the weapon used in this incident. Cops claim Joshua Mill asked Miller to take Mill’s gun to the crime scene and Mill recovered the gun from his car from Miller when he showed up. Cops claimed Mill gave the gun to someone who was identified as Davis. Davis later reportedly shot and killed a man named Harris at the time of the argument. Davis and Mill were taken into custody the day of the incident and both were charged with capital murder.
According to Paula Whitley, the district attorney for Tuscaloosa Senior Assistant Brandon Jordan Miller will not face charges related to the deadly shooting because adequate evidence is not available to charge him. Miller’s attorney also added that the last layer of basketball did not touch the gun, and the evidence does not support the finding that he played any kind of direct role in the crime. After the shooting, Miller stated: “I never lose sight of the fact that the family lost a loved one that night.” He further added that “This whole situation is really sad and heartbreaking. Respectfully, that’s all I can say about it.”
Other than that, Brandon Jordan, the freshman basketball star at the University of Alabama, reported receiving direct death threats after his team’s win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Coach Nate Oats had previously revealed that Miller had been receiving such threats in response to the security guard watching the player at the time of the practice session before the NCAA Tournament. It is not clear who sent the threat or where the calls were sent from. The police are taking this incident very seriously and are investigating the matter.
