A Brazilian woman has been charged with attempted murder for cutting off her husband’s penis after he allegedly slept with her 15-year-old niece.
The unidentified woman allegedly lured her husband, 39, to the bed, where she tied his wrists and ankles before pulling out a knife and dismembering him, according to Daily Mail.
After cutting off the appendage, he allegedly took a photo of it and then flushed it down the toilet.
The woman went to the Atibaia police station with her brother and surrendered on December 22.
“Good evening officer, I’m here to introduce myself because I just cut off my husband’s penis,” she allegedly told the officers, according to Daily Mail.
She told police she heard it was “possible to put it back in.”
Her husband was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown.
Police are investigating his claims that he was sleeping with a minor. The age of consent in Brazil is 14 years.
