A chimpanzee in Cameroon, Africa performed a magnificent act of gratitude. It was directed at a wildlife photographer in a moving video posted by French photographer JC Pieri.
At the start of the video, the monkey appears to be thirsty as it rests near a water hole. He calls for help as JC Pieri walks by and approaches the chimpanzee without hesitation, and it may be hard to believe, but in the video, the chimpanzee uses both of the photographer’s hands to scoop up water from the puddle and begins to drink.
The chimpanzee performs something that will melt your heart after drinking water three times.
The primate then begins cleaning Pieri’s hands with water.

The chimpanzee collects some water from the puddle and pours it into Pieri’s hands. He then wipes his hands clean as if to suggest that his hands got dirty as a result of drinking water.
The monkey repeatedly dips its hands into the water and then pours it over Pieri’s palms, as if thanking him for the small favor.
The moment affected viewers deeply because it beautifully represents the fundamental bond between a man and an animal. The video, which was posted on JC Pieri’s Instagram account, quickly went viral. It got more than 6.5 lakh likes and more than 7000 comments. This is what some people wrote:
